Help !! I can't get into personal information like my Ebay

Hi I can't get into any personal information, such as my personal banking or my Ebay to come up.It just says something like " Error trying to validatecertificatefrom sign in.ebay.co.uk using OCSP corrupted or uknown response.Error code:-8073".
My 3 year old daughter could of clicked some option box somewhere or something,or could I have a virus ?
I am totaly useless at sorting problems out on the pc and usually just get my partner to sort out anything like that,but he keeps not getting around to it,and thought it might just be something simple?
If you know what I need to do ,it would be a great help,please tell me very simply !! I dont really know any of the computer lingo!

try deleting the cache in internet explorer (if that is what you are using)

sounds like firefox - if so:

Tools > Options > Advanced > Security > Verification: "Do not use OCSP for certificate validation" (select that option)

Thanks all for answering, especially LSM ,I did exactly as you said and it worked perfectly,and it was sooo easy.Woohoo I fixed the computer for the first time!! I knew you lot would help me out,MSE saves the day again,I'd be lost without this site.
