Hairdresser runined my t-shirt

Options
Oh I'm so stressed out :( I just got back from the hairdresser and have noticed that they've got dye on my t-shirt. I didn't even have my hair dyed - I was just in there getting it cut but they must have been re-using towels or something  So upset - it's my favourite t-shirt that came from the US so no chance of replacing. :( Don't really know what to do but don't think that they'll pay for it :(

Try washing it straight away, and soak it in cold water first if possible. Rub a bit of neat soap on the stain - preferably white soap if it's a white top.

I only ever wear old clothes to get my hair done. The same happened to me on Saturday but it doesn't matter really as the worst of it came out and I only wear the top around the house generally anyway.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Have you asked them if they'll do anything?

This happened to me about 9 - 10 years ago and the hairdressers gave me the amount that my top cost - no problem at all.

I remember being gobsmacked - I noticed it as soon as I'd had my hair done & my hairdresser just asked me how much it cost & knocked it off my bill :)
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...
