Thanks all for your kind words.. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.. I finished the negotiations for my salary and package late on Friday.. A very decent increase in salary and my expenses paid for the first few months will greatly help swell my LillyPad fund nicely..
Talking about savings, my new regular saver with FD has been opened tonight and I can look forward to 6% interest in a year's time.. I will wait till next week to open a new ISA once the new rates have been published..
I have thoroughly enjoyed my first few days off work.. So good to be able to catch up on lots things.. Spent some time in town today, had lunch with some friends..then pottered about.. The rest of the week looks very similar and I intend to make the most of it..

Not much in money news.. I should be able to add to the pot towards the end of next week once I have reconciled all my accounts..

Good luck Froggy, hope it all goes well :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Best of luck for tomorrow, Froggy.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
