I am sorry you didn't get the last job Froggy - but I am with GG and say pah to them!

Lillypad Fund is ticking along nicely and fingers crossed about your job extension.

    Morning!

    Friday at last :j

Weather is dreadful out there..:o However it's payday.. time to top up the pot.. So it's £150 making its way there.. A bit less than usual, as I have to cover car insurance, MOT, service and cambelt change before the summer..

Work wise, still the same.. One of the jobs I applied for went down the drain.. The employer decided that they did not know if they wanted someone or not.. In the meantime, another opportunity popped up yesterday, so I have applied for it.. The long patience game continues..

    Have a great weekend :T

    Froggy

I feel your pain - I have bodywork and MOT coming up (and Tax) and then this is my cambelt service this year. Having never had a car past it's 4 year anniversary this is all a new adventure for me!

If nothing else Froggy, you seem to find plenty of suitable jobs to apply for :)

Your applications are spaced out by weeks, it's more like months here! I'm probably being rude by not remembering this, but what field do you work in?

It's accountancy / finance.. Isn't it the same as you or am I mistaken?

Have really enjoyed your diary and wish you all the luck. Have you tried the Icm for recruitment ? I'm not sure if this is near your specific area of expertise but it may be worth a go.

I'd quite like to be an accountant, but I'm definitely not one! ;)

Oh Lordy don't say that - declared war on a snotty one this week - up you sound far too pragmatic, and socially adept to be one!!!

Now that's not fair - I do know a couple who ARE normal!

    Morning all

    Happy Friday!

£211.05 added to the pot today..and the weekend is here.. The sun is shining!!

I am off on a road trip up North for the weekend to catch up with friends.. A long drive, but I don’t mind.. It will be good fun..

Still no news about my contract extension.. I currently have 3 job applications going through for external positions.. One of them seems unlikely but you never know.. I am hoping to have some good news (picked for interview?) before I set off for the weekend..

Hope you all have a great weekend!
