Oh, what a day!! Somehow polish & hungarian VAT are not that appealing.. Second serving coming up tomorrow.. I hope I get through that lot quite quickly as I still have a lot to achieve before the deadline Friday night..

Thankfully, I have had a lovely dinner at friend's.. Good catchup and natter with like minded people..

Got a ticket through them to go and see them at their choir concert next week..

Also got a nice indian out on Friday to look forward to..

    Hope everybody is well?

Good luck with your next aim for the Lilypad fund.

Froggy, for airport parking I've used holiday extras - they guarantee they won't be beaten on price - you usually can beat their price so you get it FREE (just do a bit of googling and send an email soon after booking with their price promise T&Cs). We have had free meet & greet parking during last year at LHR. HTH.

Thanks US for the head's up.. Will have a look into that this weekend..

    Cheers

    Hi TYO

Agree with you TYO, it's all downhill but it doesn't make it any easier though :o...

Really looking forward to the Indian, it will be nice to catch up with friends..

    Afternoon all :j

Monthly credit card paid off and balance of the ferry trip to France paid off as well.. Two more ticks off my list..

Next items are car insurance, MOT & service.. However, funds are too low for them all, so I will have to find a cunning plan somehow..

    Evening all! :j

Very busy day at work but deadlines have been met!

To top off a good day, got a letter saying I got a payrise starting 1st May! Perfect after the payrise I got in February! Feeling very lucky and nice to see that hard work pays off!

    Hope everybody is well!

That's wonderful; clearly you are noticed, appreciated and recognised. Good on you! More food for the fund! Especially if you continue to watch the pennies in A!di rather than Mr T's etc.

Great Froggy, starts to make up for all the flack that comes your way occasionally :j:j:j

    Well done
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Thanks Mcculloch29, Ed & GG! :D

It feels great.. It's only a few more pounds a month, but it's all in the right direction.. All helps at this stage and it's nice to feel recognised.. I am sure the bosses will expect more in return though..
