    Just a quick wave to say well done with all so far.

    About the help you gave in M&S before you went away... :) People with visual impairment will say 'I saw' and 'I was looking for' in the same way as we do, so you were right to say "looking". Well done for helping. So many don't.
    I'm not visually impaired but I am disabled; usually I'm offered help when it's not needed, but I always thank people for the offer.

    2024 - happy, healthy, quality over quantity, buy nothing new (and 2nd hand only if NEEDED), mindful spending, nurturing myself and family, living for now.

    Mortgage @ 31/12/23 £248k - too high, interest rate gone up - want this down asap!
    Debt @ 31/12/23 £16k - no interest - will clear over 5 years hopefully.
    Emergency savings £4k - been ransacked over last year - needs attention :-(

    Payday today! £75.06 added to the pot made up as follows: £5.24 leftover on current account, £45.63 for payrise, £24.19 for new personal tax allowance (Thank Tilly for the reminder ;))..

    Nice to see you "waves"!

    Just about caught up at work.. Got a couple of conference calls today that should help sort out a couple of big issues then it's the weekend..
    Plans for this weekend: I have a friend coming over for lunch tomorrow.. Will pop over to see Elvis at some point.. Need to see one of my friend to drop off his birthday card and present.. And in all of that, I need to fit in food shopping, ironing, house cleaning and a bit of gardening.. So all in all, not too bad at all..

    What about you? Anything exciting? How is the family doing?

    Sounds like mine really but I don't do ironing. Going to visit my Nan, put up a washing line and wash the cars and windows - an exciting life :)
