Yes I also do have a "co-pilot".. The car is the only place we will have an argument in... Your suitcase ideas sound great too..

    Froggy

The OH and myself "bicker" all the time but very rarely do we have full blown arguments. But the car is always a good source, from where we live we have 2 or 3 different routes to anywhere and I can guarantee whichever path I take she will say I should have gone another! haha

Yeah i'll make more of an effort to come back on here again now, been really busy at work, coupled with a short holiday i've not been on as much as I was before or would have liked.

    Afternoon all! :j

Not much happening today.. I have sent a claim to TCB for missing cashback for Music MaGpie..My VO account is full, but mostly on the pending credit side which does not help :o..
I need to look into more recipes to bring our grocery spend down as it has been shockingly high in the last couple of months.. I will prepare an online delivery slot for when we come back from holidays..

I am finishing work in a few minutes, and I might even enjoy a bit of this nice weather, sitting in traffic jams..:o

Only 3 more sleeps till holidays, and just 2 days in the office! :D:D

    A'noon Frogman,

I think everybodys really starting to see the cost of food going up at the moment. I heard on the radio the average bread prices has risen from 80p a loaf to £1.20 so its no wonder our weekly bills creep up.

Traffic jams.... unluckly. Glad to say I have seen the last of them now.

Some goods news though! looks like Arsenal have their first signing of the summer from Lille, Gervinho.

Agree with you, will need to look out for bargains on the next shop.. I might go back to do grocery online, at least I won't be tempted by anything else..
I had not heard about that new transfer from Lille.. I will have a look at the French paper in the morning to see what he is worth..

MOOC, I thought Lewis had at least another year at McLaren on his contract... Somehow I don't see him moving from where he is knowing full well Red Bull lis highly likely to win driver & constructor championships again this year..
    Only time will tell..

Had a nice surprise from a very good friend in the post..It had me smiling from ear to ear since I got in.. If you read this, pat yourself on the back, you've made our day! :rotfl:

If you come up with good cheap recipes then please share, as we all find it so hard don't we. I've gone back to looking for a joint on offer, and then having as many meals as possible from it, and you only find about half the meat in any meal as there used to be.

Yes he is still contracted to Mclaren to the end of next year and I cannot see him moving either as he has grown up with the Mclaren team. He was seen talking to Christian Horner for 15 mins on Sunday and that's what sparked the rumours.
I really cant see Hamilton and Vettel as team mates but it would be interesting if it happened.

I think the moves we have to look out for are probably within Ferrari.. Doubt Massa will be given an extension to his contract, and Alonso won't stay with a losing team..I'd like to see Kobayashi with a competitive car as I think he would be brilliant, he has no fears..

    Ooh, yummy, yes please :D

Hi there Froggy, just been catching up on your thread, well done on the new gadget (gadgets are my weakness:o) you deserve a treat and as the others have said it's all about balance and you managed to negotiate a great deal and sell some stuff into the bargain - great going Froggy :j

I've just had a quick peak at our MFiT T2 thread as this is our half way point. The amount of people who have updated is falling off but I'm sure there are a few more to come in yet and FB is really good in that although the update date was the 12th this month he normally gives the stragglers until the end of the month. The amount of people updating is bound to fall off I guess as 'life' happens and not everyone can stay committed to a plan they made three years in advance.

The fab news is that there is now 8 people who have acheived MF status since we started and I know a couple of others are technically MF too in that their assets equal or exceed their MF balance but they are not paying it off yet.

I'm miiiiiiiiiiles behind where I should be at this point but I put a tough target in for myself (£40k in three years) and there is still 18 months to go and my finances are in good shape now (mind you, that's me putting the £4.5k ish aside that the tax man wants and the fact that on top of that I'm getting paid £300 a month less than I was in December due to additonal tax deductions )

Not long now for your hols, it's great doing the countdown in 'sleeps' isn't it:j
