I have sold my first book on GM today (£7),
Does anybody know how long cheques from GM take to come around by any chance??
Thanks
Froggy :rotfl:
Well done on the GM sale -assume it was a heavy book with quite a bit of postage if you got £7? After you mark it as sent, it takes a week for the payment to clear into your account. You can then request for it to transferred into your nominated account which takes about another 5 days soooo, quick its not! If you dont request a transfer the money will just sit in your [ie GM's account].
Yay :j to more pressies - I love it when birthdays get stretched out like that.....0 -
GG :j
Could I please have a copy of "my" mortgage spreadsheet you've been working on??

You have a PM sir
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

Hey Teapot :j
Thanks for the info.. Book is not that heavy.. Postage should be £2/3 max so should make £4/5 on the book..
There should be another 3/4 more presents to come in the next week as well!!

Afternoon all :j
Postage for the GM book ended up being £4.41, thats just plain shocking! I could not send it 2nd class as it was too heavy.. Anyway, I will still make £2.59 on it..:rotfl:
I have put my expense claim through at work (£68) for my eye test and new glasses...That should take about 2 weeks to come through to me..;)
No payment so far from Quidco or TCB this month, but hopefully it will come through quite soon...:o
Had a couple of calls from recruitment agencies in the last couple of days... Things are progressing very slowly, and I am desperate to find something new, I don't really know how long I can last here ..
Am off to table tennis again tonight, not expecting to win, but still good to practice and get a bit fitter..
Hope everybody is well?

Holla Froggy,
Sounds like a good week. A belated happy birthday to you. Well done on the table tennis and the beginning of what will, I'm sure, be a very profitable venture into internet entrepreneurship. Keep on top of the infernal recruitment agents - I think they're no better regardless of which area they practice their dark art in!
Cheers,

Happy belated birthday! And well done on the table tennis.
Having read your diary I think I may add another thing to my to do list - to look at books I could sell, I have soooo many and I won't read them again - need to do something, my bookcases are heaving as are the boxes under the desk and drawers under the bed....you get the picture! I have never been any good at selling stuff though (too lazy), but I will keep thinking about it.
Hope you watched the Biggest Loser rather than Champions League the other day! I am guessing you are a Red if you were watching Tuesday....
Good look with the recruitment agency! Fingers crossed you are inundated with offers soon!

I would say yes its worth selling the books.. It might not fly off the shelf but going through GM makes it really easy...
