Completing on Friday (hopefully) would you arrange to look around before Friday?

Hi All
Hopefully completing on Friday unless told otherwise, I was just wondering if it'd be prudent to have another look around the house before then to make sure the seller hasn't done anything to the house.
Its a longshot but they could have set fire to the house and we'd be buying a charred ruin on Friday

You should have taken out building insurance when you exchanged so any damage that could have occurred, such as fire or flood damage, would be covered.
I'm not sure how it would work if the current owners damaged the home on purpose - this would probably be something you could go on and sue them for if you could prove it?0 -
Yes we took out buildings insurance, i was just wondering if it was the done thing.
They could really do anything to the house, if they spilled paint on the floor or something or took the staircase (unlikely) I'd have no way of proving the building wasn't in that state when I put my offer in

you are entitled to have the property in the state it was in at exchange.0

OK, but as I didn't look around the property when we exchanged I've no idea what that state currently is
Anyway having a look around tonight, seller happy to do it and we can discuss the boiler and agree meter readings
