Euro, thanks to you and the others for your kind words. OH is going to have to go a long way to be trusted again.

Is Kerststol some kind of stollen then? I have to admit to be partial to L!dl's stollen, though I usually buy too much cos it is quite cheap. I ended up making bread pud out of it last year and it was lush.

PAD for me today is a whopping 80p to the change jar.

Five days off work now - need to charge the batteries a bit.

You're welcome JayJay. And it's understandable that it will take some time to rebuild the trust.

I just looked up stollen (as didn't have a clue! lol) and it looks VERY similar. Only difference I can see is that Kerststol has a marzipan like stuff running through the cake also.

Looking forward to Weds next week, when I fly to the UK!! I get to see all my friends and family.

Had a breakthrough with my OH this weekend. I've been trying to get him to buy his family something small each Christmas, and he's previously refused (tricky relationships there). A couple weeks ago, I mentioned that I would definitely get his Mum something this year as it doesn't feel right to keep accepting gifts from her without returning the favour. ANyway, didn't think anymore about it until Saturday when OH was looking up gifts for them all, and ordered them! I know it doesn't seem like much but that is a huge step forward for their relationship, so I'm really pleased for him. :)

Hope everyone is well! xx

Hi Boysma!

I'm o.k Thanks, still having some ups and downs but I'm sure I'll be fine.

I've been having really awful pains though, when they get really bad I end up having to lean onto something :o I'm hopimg all is o.k but I could only get an appointment with someone on the 23rd so I guess I'm gonna have to wait and see :(

Can they not give you an emergency appointment? If not, maybe you should head to A&E sweetie. It could be something minor, but the sooner you get it checked, the better.

Thinking positive thoughts for you, and keeping all my fingers and toes crossed. HUGS!!!!!!

xx

• Bob walked into a sports bar around
9:58 PM.
He sat down next to a blonde at the bar
And stared up at the TV.

The 10 PM news was coming on.
The news crew was covering the story
Of a man on the ledge of a large building
Preparing to jump
.

The blonde looked at Bob and said,
"Do you think he'll jump?"

Bob said,
"You know, I bet
he'll jump."

The blonde replied,
"Well, I bet he won't."

Bob placed a $20 bill on the bar and said,
"You're
on!"

Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar,
The guy on the ledge
Did a swan dive off the building,
Falling to his death.

The blonde was very upset,
But willingly handed her $20 to Bob.
"Fair's fair. Here's your money."

Bob replied,
"I can't take your money.

I saw this earlier on the 5 PM news,
So I knew he would jump."

The blonde replied,
"I did, too,
But I didn't think he'd do it again."

Bob took the money.
