Hi everyone!
Am off out later (being dragged to see Harry Potter -I HAAAATTEE those films so much) but bloke is desperate to see it so he's bribed me with Ben and Jerry's. It must be love eh :rotfl:
So posting my pad for the day now of £15.15. The fact that this is the division of my usual monthly payments and overpayments pleases me greatly - I love nice smart numbers like that!
Welcome to all newbies, you will love it here! Warm up in December to give Paul a nice big total and then you will have to help us reach 600k next year!

Hi all.
Slight delay in the totalling.
Yesterday's PAD total was a very respectable
£1,043.59
Congratulations on a decent December daily total and special mention for Flying_Fresian on her debt free status.
I haven't been on the PC since early yesterday morning. As I have been unable to work due to the travel situation, I crawled my van across town to my friends' place. Due to school closure, a child minder was required (me) to allow others to go to work. The travel situation worsened during the day so I stopped over for a second day of punishment(how do you women cope with kids LOL?). I even got snowballed and didn't have a change of clothing (wasn't expecting to stay over).
Anyway, no snow today so I borrowed their shovel to clear the space in front of the drive wheels and drove home. Only been back a couple of hours.
I did splash out a bit. Although my front tyres are still legal (just), I felt that a bit more traction would be a good idea as it's front wheel drive. So I bought two new tyres and unfortunately the best way to do this was on the credit card. The are high pressure tyres so are a bit costly and because I needed them pretty urgently, I had to have two that were in stock (not exactly the cheapest). So I've added over £200 to my credit card debts at the end of a week when I only managed a half day's work. Sometimes these things are difficult to avoid.
On the plus side, a customer hass made an accidental payment into my account that was meant for someone else. She is OK about me keeping it and deducting it from the next invoice. Pretty useful really at the moment
. Also, my fuel switching fee of £50 has now been paid into my account too.
Finances a bit wobbly but I have been saving for my tax bill. A bit of that may yet be needed as an emergency fund if the weather doesn't improve.0 -
hey lovely PADers, hope everyone's had a good day today. Thank goodness it's Friday and I actually have a weekend off!
Off to Twickers tomorrow to watch the rugby with DH who is a MASSIVE rugby fan. I, on the other hand, have no comprehension of the game whatsoever and tend to say 'ouch' a lot whenever it's on the tellyshould be interesting, and who know's - I may just stay in the bar :rotfl:
I'm having a £3 PAD today please Paul, and in case I don't get back in time tomorrow I'll put £2 in the change pot too so £5.00 for me.I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...0 -
Yesterday's total was once again, very respectable.
It was
£1,276.79
I won't be making my first PAD of the month until next week. Will be a few hundred going out then.
I'm not paying a single penny that I don't have to until the Winter is over so it's frugal PAD season for me.0 -
