Thank you. We really cannot afford Christmas either, and just really wanted it to be so nice this year. Hours at work are still rubbish and OH is having trouble at workhe has just put in a formal complaint about to his area manager about being bullied by one of the managers.

My pad for today is the usual £12.70.
I'm so glad it's Friday tomorrow! It feels like it's been a really long week and I'm shattered. It's going to be even worse next week though as we have 2 parents evenings, I know it sounds stupid but it's so tiring sitting there and talking for 4 hours solid!! I always wake up with a sore throat the next day. I'll have to stock up on strepsils!
It's wierd because before I was a teacher I worked as a waitress and sometimes used to work 18 hour days for 3/4 days in a row without getting as tired as I do now!! Must be getting old...:o
Nobody is a failure for worrying about xmas finances - if anything that means you are onto a winner because you are making sure that you help yourself. Stuff like xmas and birthdays is what you make it - and just think of the feeling you will have when you are debt free and can go out and buy everything with no guilt!
