Sorry to hear that
OH has been to work to find out why he hasnt been paid, and got the answer of 'im not sure'. His boss suggested they check they have his right bank details - well they managed to pay him into that bank every week for the last god knows how many years!!
Anyway its now being looked into, so god knows how long that will take. Luckily get tax credits on Monday but that usually goes straight into the rent account and doesnt get touched so this is going to mess all the budgeting up now.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

£350 is such a lot of cash
The most urgent and expensive is rear wheel cylinder leaking and shoes contaminated at £173.50 apparently this is dangerous so I shouldn't even be driving.
The rest is speedo not working, rear coil spring broken and need new brake pads at the front.
Ive asked my friend if he could lend me the money, so I can just get it all fixed in one go and my friend who is getting married her brother works in a garage so im going to ask him for a quote and maybe leave it with them while im at the wedding... although this would involve driving a fair few miles with the leak. I guess it depends on how much cheaper itll be. I'm so annoyed... more at the cost than anything, and how I was getting sorted but something always ends up s0dding it up... I suppose it proves I need to get a fund built up for repairs so this doesn't happen again.:(:(:(:(:(

They have been ok, my last mot was just a passenger seatbelt and tightening the parking brake.
I've asked a friend to ask his mate (he is an east londoner with a few contacts!) about fixing my car. Just looking up prices of parts to see if it's cheaper.
My other friend has agreed to lend me the money, so I can at least get it fixed.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

I could have fixed that for nothing. Just take the bulb out. Job done.
What was the problem then? Brake discs?0 -
