  • Thanks for all the 'Congrats' messages re my cc, I've still got a long way to go though. My loan is the next to be tackled so the sooner the cc is paid off, the sooner I get rid of the loan!! I've got another 3 years before it finishes :(

In fact, I've been wondering about my loan for a while now. It's an unsecured personal loan so I can, if I wanted to, sell the car and pretty much pay it off. I could save up for an old banger or, sell the car, buy an old banger and use the rest of it to pay off a big chunk of my loan - I want rid of the loan and I want rid of the car as it's been a bit of a jinx but OH doesn't seem too interested in helping decide what's best...maybe I should take it to town one day and come back without it :rotfl:

    Hi all,

Great to hear all the positive vibes on the thread today,

I have paid £10.44 to Tcc - got the bill today as well so with what I have paid off so far this week it stands at 981.21. I won't be able to clear this by Xmas but will have a good try at the end of January.

I'll be starting on a loan after that and it is the highest interest too so needs to be dealt with.

    Hi everyone!

Just a little pad of 54p today please FF.

I'm very tentatively pleased at the minute as I have been accepted for an Egg card with 0% on balance transfers :T which should knock a couple of months off my DFD as I'm currently paying around £50 a month in interest

However, I never actually got as far as seeing what limit I had been accepted for, or making the balance transfer, because when it told me to double check the address, I made a slight change (the automated address finder has put the address as "Name of Flats, Flat 2, Street Name" and I altered it to "Flat 2, Name of Flats, Street Name" and it told me they would have to re-verify everything. Grrr.

So I'm going to ring them tomorrow to find out whats what. Fingers crossed eh.

Off to bed in a minute because I'm still shattered and not quite feeling myself, have a good evening all (whats left of it)
    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
