So sorry to hear that
thoughts are with her and you x
Thanks Flowerangelicmary85 wrote: »I was going to ask for an update on DIL. I'm so sorry to hear your news Green, must be a difficult time for you all
Thanks - was only talking about the baby with her on Sunday! Since discovering my old knitting needles etc, in the loft the other week I said I'd knit some things for the baby. I actually couldn't remember much about knitting as it's been that long since I did any. So I practised by making 2 scarves one for GD1 and the other for GD2 - am quite chuffed with them. I did one with tassles and the other with little pompoms all over.
When I had my MOT back in August they told me I needed new tyres then!I never thought about bearings
How expensive are they???

I love knitted stuff on babies, it looks so cute, I'm sorry you could only make the scarves though
Wheel bearings vary in price, estimate seems to be about £80ish each (excluding vat and labour) but mine cost £133 (plus vat) as they are hub bearings.
They can cause alot of damage if not replaced though, worst case senario (apparently) is your wheel falling off  but my cousin told me that it starts to weld itself onto something which can damage the break discs...?!
Fluff knows what he was talking about, I might have picked him up wrong - I only know that it's something that you should get looked at!!
Does it go, wum wum wum but really loud? It might not be bearings but if one goes, the other tends to go shortly afterwards as one not 'working' properly causes pressure on the other.
