  • Sometimes it's easier said than done though isn't it! :o

Definitely.... I really want to get it paid off by the end of 2011 though which means an average of £750 per month which isn't going to happen if I keep spending it all!! :o

Just wanted to ask you PAD-ers a quick question. Do any of you have any experience of virgin media and downsizing the bundles? Just wondering if they would let me do it fairly easily or wont allow it because we are in a contract? Wondering if I could appeal to their better nature and tell them about me losing hours at work.

Depends on how long you have been with them - I don't think that they can refuse if you're in difficulty. We went from £60 to £25 per month with them without any problem. Just make sure that if you do decrease your bundle they don't extend the contract and that you know the exact terms if they do.

What do you have with them just now and how much are you paying?

We're paying £46 at the minute, have just been looking on the website and wondering why on earth we even have that package because we dont watch half the channels, and really dont need to broadband size have. Wanted to reduce to the £30 package, every little helps with my loss of hours at work. Will try ringing tomorrow and appeal to their better nature.

You don't even have to beg or anything, just say you want to change it as you're not using it. They shouldn't even argue :D
