Confusion about Lease on Sale

Hi
Our EA stupidly managed to advise the buyers of our flat that it was a SOF, even though we explained many times that it was LH and that at the time the HIP supplied clearly stated that the property was LH.
Subsequently the buyers offered our asking price of £155,000 and we accepted.
The buyers solicitors have now asked the FH (our downstairs neighbours) how much it would cost to extend the lease which has 78 years left to run.
Currently we are awaiting the information from the FH Solicitors but obviously very concerned that this is going to be an issue.
Would anyone know what we could do to protect our sale going through?
And could anyone give us a rough estimate of how much the lease extension may cost?
