    Hi

It might help to read and post for ideas to help keep you motivated on the Debt-Free Wannabe board. You might find that by joining in some of the challenges these help you to stay on track with your finances, and might pick up tips on the way.

I still live at home with my parents and I really need a loan ASAP as I want to move out and with all this debt, it's not possible.

If you are currently living with your parents and struggling with your debt, is it really advisable to move out into your own place where your outgoings are going to be even higher?

The best plan would be to stay where you are just now for as long as possible, cut down your outgoings as much as you can and really start chipping away at your debt.

If you post an SOA (Statement of Affairs) over on the Debt-Free Wannabee board, there are loads of people who could help you try and identify any savings and cutbacks you could make.

I'll echo what IA and Tixy have said - hop over to the Debt-Free Wannabe (DFW) board. If you post your Statement Of Affairs there (all your money coming in and everything going out) people on that board will be VERY supportive, as they've all been there and had to manage debt the same as you. They will offer brilliant advice on how to achieve it more quickly!

But they're right - a loan is almost never, ever the answer with debt; read the tales on here of why!! It's not a lecture, it's really not - it's only because people have been there, done that, got into more debt and now want to stop others doing the same thing!

Honestly, the DFW board will be a fabulous place to help keep you going and hopefully help you pay it off more quickly than you might think.

    All the best!

The OP has big debts a shocking history of managing their finances and is now looking for another lender to give them more money.

If you care to read my post I think you will it factually accurate as a response.

Harsh, but fair. I'll be honest it never ceases to amaze me that people who sadly find themselves in trouble like the OP often think the best way round is to take out another loan.

Many in these circs still keep the credit card 'just in case' and fail to track spending on it often getting them in a worse position than before.

Could not agree more, sometimes the nicest thing to do is to honestly point out there is not a hope in hell of more borrowing (e.g. £10k in debt, 6 CCJs, 11 defaulted accounts).

I've not been there myself, but my brother has. He ran up debts for various reasons, credit cards, loans, over-drafts and no doubt others we didn't know about. My parents helped him out and still he went on several holidays a year and continued to run his car. It got to the stage where he went bankrupt or started sorting it out properly. So far so good for him.
