Nowhere of course, do I make any such statements, though when going without even £6 per month extra helps! Incompetence isn't of course generally defined as being the dominant force in the market or making such profits. As to "actual figures" please see the above "actual figures" or is it in fact you who is proving to be both innumerate and either illiterate or to have ridiculous but convenient "blind spots" here?

What "actual figures"??? Again, what figures do you have to suggest that the profits are not small? What post number are they in? What are they? You certainly have not provided any, not in post #10. I genuinely want to know what these figures are that suggest British Gas have made massive profits. The sentence you emboldened in #10 works against your premise!

The emboldened sentence was only to show it as a quote from British Gas website rather than merely a personal opinion. It does not however necessarily "work against" anything and may merely indicate the Great British apathy at times.

Believe it or not however £585 million in just 6 months and 98% increase on the previous year are "actual figures"! (they can be found in post 7 & of course the original article, which you presumably read in order to dismiss it as "garbage" and the numbers as "meaningless")

Most sane & rational people would not consider that kind of money to be chicken feed or "small" profits though, based on some of your postings, I am happy to accept that you may well be quite unique!

But those figures are incomplete. It is not 'sane' or at least it is not 'rational' to simply state that those are massive profits. There is insufficient data. What are the figures that make you think that a profit of more than half a billion pounds is excessive?

These are great figures for employee's as we know our jobs are safe however.

as pointed out BG profits are nothing compared to other companys including Scottish & Southern Energy. and with close to 16 million customers it is hardly huge when you have
