TV program on dvd-question

i have lg-rh188 dvd recorder. i recorded Path to 9/11 last nite and day before on the recorder hdd. the first episode was more than 2hrs long and the next day i copied the first part onto dvd-r on long play. it plays perfectly on dvd player but in the morning when i put this recorded dvd-r in my pc it shows no files on it. whats going on here? does it have anything to do with somekind of restriction or something?

You probably need to 'finalised' the DVD-R on your recorder before it allows playback on your PC.0
