Morning all - thanks to Josie for starting us off.

Up early waiting for the new fridge to be delivered - Currys sent a text saying it will arrive between 7am and 11am - so you can guarantee that if I stayed in bed it would have arrived at 7am but now I'm up it'll be 2pm! Eventually came just before 12 noon:mad:

    Other stuff to do today....
    • Install new fridge (they're taking away the old one thankfully) done
    • Get sis up and ready for the day later on (bit early yet!) done
    • Put coolbox back in attic when we have a functional fridge ready to go up
    • Take library book back - 2 days late but I hadn't finished it and couldn't renew as someone was waiting for it done
    • Transfer £5 Amazon sale money to savings to start replenishing the mega spends I've had to make this month done
    • Check banks done
    • Check ebay done
    • Check quidco done
    • Tidy downstairs loo/cloakroom - didn't manage this yesterday done
    • Ordered some more libray books after checking out what was on sale in Mr T done
    • All food from stores - spag bol for the carnivores, quorn meatballs for me for tea
    • Tidy kitchen done
    • Maybe mow back lawn if the rain holds off (OH has developed a bad back and "can't" do it) - hope the pollen doesn't kill me! rained on and off all day, maybe tomorrow
    • Fiddle with meal plan for next week to try to minmise spends - 2 more weeks until I get paid - very hard not getting paid at all in July! next job
    • Phone Vodafone about new contract and phone will look at website now
    • Maybe sand down paintwork inen-suite bathroom not managed this yet - might have a go tonight
That's all for today - will also try to find something free/very cheap to do with sis after fridge arrives, was thinking a walk in the park with the dog but not if its raining.

    Have a good day!

Took sis and OH to Mr T where she bought a cheap DVD and some icecream - watched the film this afternoon, spent less than going anywhere in the rain

Have also walked the dog twice between the showers and hoovered and dusted (again) downstairs. Dogs and messy OHs!

I have £15 left until Saturday and have to amuse sister (and mum on Friday) - we have all the food we need and there's enough petrol in the car so its just for "fun" things.

I think I'll take her to the museum tomorrow - its free and supposed to be quite good. Maybe we'll go after an early lunch so I can save on buying food out? Will investigate parking and see whether we can use her blue badge to park somewhere close and free!

For anyone that's interested Ruth Jones (Nessa in Gavin and Stacey) has a new comedy series called The Great Outdoors starting on BBC4 tonight at 9. Looks quite good, she's usually very funny - its about rambling of all things. Maybe worth a watch?
    January grocery spending - £82.73/ £120

    Evening All!

Quiet on here today... everyone on their hols?!

Little list for me today. I have/will:
    • Sorted hoover (didn't do it yesterday) hopefully it'll last a bit longer - although have investigated and I can get Dyson to service it, even though it's 7 years old... quite reasonable considering the price new, so this maybe an option
    • Sorted through loads of paperwork and OH shredded sensitive stuff
    • sorted plastic tubs (know it seems small but we were being over run with them :o) now have a lovely neat box of them and only ones with lids survived :T
    • Lunch from freezer
    • Small shop at Mr T's, used MOC, and 500 bonus points voucher for spending £25 on homeware - bought reduced duvet and pillows which we need for our 'new' spareroom - also got loads of reduced/ barginous things that were on my list anyway :T:j:T
    • Met friends with LO and had tea and catch up at theirs :D
    • Moved some money around before bills go out at end of month to avoid charges
    • one poll - 40p today! :D
    • Checked quidco - should get a small payment next week that will go on CC

Enjoy your evening one and all x
