best way to post larger items

Hi Guys, I am still quite new to ebay and was wondering the best way to post larger items. I have just sold a rug, do you think it will be ok via royal mail?

I've used both Royal Mail and DHL but prefer DHL for larger items as they are collected. Also my little village stores Post Office has a very limited space to store outgoing parcels.

Wouldn't use RM for larger items as they will be expensive. Try someone like parcel2go.com or interparcel.com

Parcel2Go are who I use and DHL do the collections/deliveries (I think!).

thanks for those, the parcels to go looks really reasonable. I can't see a price guide on the dhl site though.

Thanks everyone for the replies to this thread. I have used parcels to go. I was really easy to use and i paid through paypal. It cost me a bit more than i thought (I guesstimated). But I am still learning about postage etc. I will know next time I list a larger item. Anyway, thanks again
