We have a Samsung lcd 26" with freeview built in. I rang them up early this year as we had about 17 dead pixels on it I had the tv for a few weeks but it was hard spotting them. I had to give them my info about model and serial and they arranged with a 3rd party company to pick tv up. When they came they didnt see the dead pixels when itw as on, and tbh they were hard to spot in bright light. They took it away and rang a few days later to say they couldnt find any, I explained to them and I had even run a dead pixel program. They said they change the panel which they did, so in all it took about 2 weeks for tv to come back.

I still have issues with the tv, ie green flash that appears on tv a coupel fo times a day, I explianed this too them but they said it must be my aerial, I had a new aerial/cable fitetd 2 years ago, and funny how it works firn on other feeds like dvd, and even external freeview adaptor. I think its the firmware thats at fault.
