I lent a mate of mine my laptop to do some uni work, got it back from him and some applications will now not open including my wireless connection!
I have a recovery disk, Is it possible to over install windows without losing any data / files from the laptop?
Currently running windows 2000 with service pack 3....trouble is cannot now open up IE either!!!
Not sure what he has done, he tried telling me i had too much running on my start up and taskbar and that he deleted some things to speed it up!!!!
Cheers
Pete
