Hi
We currently have an open staircase (no Bannister or spindles) and a very adventurous 1 year old!
We need to replace the side of the staircase to make it safe but have no idea who to contact to do this.
Would I need a carpenter or a specialist company?
Help!!
Thanks in anticipation!

Any decent carpenter will do this. If it just the stairs (as opposed to landing as well) should be done in 2 days max (often less). Depending on which spindle you opt for, allow say £200 - £300 for materials.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
