Butlins Premier Dining - worth it?

i am off to butlins next week half board and noticed in the paperwork that arrived today they now do premier dining, is it worth the extra ? Do you get better/different food to the main food hall.

many thanks

The food is the same but the surroundings are so much nicer. It's like eating in a restaurant rather than a canteen. If you can afford to upgrade then I would!

We upgraded at Skegness and yes it is deffinately worth it. The surroundings are nicer.
The other food hall is quite busy, tables didnt seemed to get cleaned as much, overall it just was a nicer experience having the upgraded dining plan.
If you arent that bothered then the other food hall is ok, the food is nice and im presuming made by the same chefs. Just make sure you take wipes to clean the table. The food is still ok, just depends on your preference and we prefer it to be not as noisy and a bit nicer restaurant.

edit : yes pancakes, omelettes etc but the queue for these is normally massive. They have 1 chef making them freshly as you wait so it can be quite a wait. They also have the wok station where they cook it in front of you.
  • we went deluxe last time which means you ate in the posher one. yes, i'd upgrade again as there was more choice, less people, better surroudings, proper plates (we'd have paper cups, plastic trays etc in the other one)

The same mass produced rubbish in a slightly nicer canteen, personally wouldn't bother myself.
