Portable hard disk TV viewer?

Options
Hi,

I'm a complete gadget phobe. But I would like to be able to record TV (terrestrial only, not Sky etc) on my PC, then watch it on my commute by train.

I don't carry a laptop etc., so I'm looking for something handheld.

I know the name Archos, and that there's a video iPod now, but I don't really know the differences.

I'm after good value, not cutting edge technology. I'm not expecting a crystal clear picture, nor perfect sound. I wouldn't expect to load more than a couple of hours of TV onto it at any one time.

I don't really have a budget as such, but I'd be loath to spend much more than £200 on something.

I am of course assuming that any unit will come with appropriate software for the PC (it already has a TV card).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers, Martin.
