Just to clarify before my sister throws her TV out the window, it's a 5700, not a 5400.

If anyone can help her, please do as she keeps telling me about her blasted TV whilst interrupting my viewing pleasures. My Samsung stand was extremely easy to fit. I like gloating.

As you can see one base with moving spindle bit in the middle which i cannot remove. The tv where the base goes into is so short in depth i have no idea how anyway it would support the stand..Help!

How to fit the stand is detailed in the instruction manual.

Re-read post #3 for a link to the manual.

Looking at the instructions it seems the "stand body" is missing and the base has been dismantled or broken.

    Hi,

think this is the page, might have to blow it up a bit, (Ctrl/mouse wheel or Ctrl and + key) looks as though stand body is missing.
