  • Assuming the PC you're trying to join to the wireless network has a wireless card inside it or a USB wireless adapter (i.e. can you see your wireless network on it?) then all you need to do is select the SSID (name) of your wireless network and type in the password.

You could just use an ethernet cable, BTW what is the make and model of the PC you want to connect?
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Unless you have upgraded it to have a wifi card, then you don't have one. Desktops don't normally come with wifi because they are fixed systems that you normally would connect to the internet directly to the moderm. If you have a wifi router connected to your I assume broadband modern then there will be sockets at the back to plug into the network card.

would i just buy any network card?
  • If you use an Ethernet cable it goes from your computer to the Dlink router. If you want to make the computer wireless the easiest way would be to buy a wireless adapter, for example: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/159814

The standard specs on a 3000 has a network "Ethernet" card as Evil Scot says.
