My poor burr covered dog - What can I do?

...well persistance and detangle spray...

I spent nearly 5 hours with dog and comb this afternoon, he was an absolute angel! Everytime he got a bit grumbly i sent him outside and then hoovered the lounge carpet - called him back in, he came straight back in & sat on my lap ready for the next session - he even joined in to help every so often (and only went for the same patch as me once - ouch!)....

He is now almost burr free....and then my OH took him out for his evening walk....

... he's collected a few more - but i dont think tomoro will be another 5 hour session...
