looking to buy a laptop with a buget of about £400 and wondered if anyone could give me some advice on what to look for. or have any suggestions of best buys

Depends what it needs to be used for , if its 'normal' stuff like office/surfing/emailing you can do alot worse than a bog standard dell type machine and always worth benchmarking any other offer you see against em to gauge if its better/worse value on average....0

it'll just be for internet, email photos etc. not letting kids use it either.0
