  • Out of interest I visited a huge discount store down south called Trago Mills and I couldn't resist comparing prices. Their Bubble consoles were £44.99 and all the games were £15.99. We really have got a great bargain!

Wow just ordered £100 pounds worth thats 4 christmas presents, 2 birthday presents and a few spares for Birthday parties. Hope it all comes
  • Further to my email at 3am yesterday telling me that the Electonic Sudoku were now 'unobtainable' yet they are in stock if you pay £19.99 for them, I have today received an email saying that they may actually not be in stock, just because the website says they are there, doesn't actually mean they are. So I have again replied (still can't get the call back thingy to work) asking why they are showing the item as in stock if it isn't as that is misleading, as is holding an order for nearly 2 weeks and then contacting people who've ordered it to say it isn't available, when they clearly advertise the item as 'in stock, available for immediate dispatch'.

They also offered to refund the postage if I ordered at the new price - most useful when it is now £19.99 and qualifies for free delivery :rotfl:
Please place a new order and write back with the order number, which
will help us to refund the shipping charge.

Aren't they contradicting themselves here? If they are offering to refund the delivery cost if you order the item at the new price, then surely that is tantamount to telling you that they are actually in stock? Otherwise it would be pointless them telling you to go ahead and order.

I would push this one as far as you can - Amazon are being completely unfair here. You should get the item at the lower price advertised when you placed your order, otherwise surely they are guilty of misleading advertising?
  • They've got quicker with their replies!
Although this item "Electronic Sudoku" is still listed in our
catalogue as being available and it is currently still possible to
place an order for it on our website, such an order would be
cancelled, as we are unable to obtain a copy and our catalogue will
shortly be updated to reflect this item's new status.

Until recently we had still hoped to be able to obtain this item
from our supplier. We do apologise for any inconvenience this
    availability issue has caused.
After reviewing our previous correspondence with you, may we
    apologise for any misunderstanding caused.
We do appreciate your business, and would like to give you a 5.00
GBP promotional gift certificate, for use towards your
    next Amazon.co.uk order.

Still not a happy customer though - have had problems with Amazon before and a £5 voucher, whilst a nice gesture, does not clear up the issue that it is STILL available on the website:

    Electronic Sudoku

Tempted to throw all my toys out of the pram on this one, but don't think it will get me very far! Did anyone actually get this delivered?

I would be surprised if they actually do have any of these in stock given that they were selling it for 50p a week or so ago. That surely was a misprice...wasn't it? Looks like some enterprising punters got a shedload as there are plenty of sellers on there selling it for a fraction of the £20 Amazon are asking...
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

I received mine having paid 50p, but Amazon cancelled the Mad Lab game from my order initially claiming that it was a mis-price and then declaring it out of stock!! However, it is still showing as available two weeks later:confused:

Not unhappy though as I got some great bargains and most of my stocking fillers sewn up.
  • I'm not expecting to get the item in all honesty, but what annoys me is that I did order it on the 12th (day of first post) and it's sat there for 11 days prior to them deciding it's unobtainable. To be honest, I'm expecting more of the order to be cancelled as delivery is now mid-October, from the original late September.

Plus as they tend to email me overnight, I read it before drinking my first coffee in the morning and even my kids avoid me til I've had my caffeine hit!
