We are having a DJ but a friend is also bringing along her balloons - she does balloon modelling - already have my eye on a cow hat! She said she will bring them to entertain the kids - I think entertain the adults more like!!!! Most of the guests for the evening are guiders and scouters so I don't think she will stand a chance!

I'm having a DJ. My wedding is in the US so the format does differ a bit from weddings here from what I can gather as I haven't attended a wedding in the UK yet.

I'm sorry but I don't understand all the other entertainment. As a guest I would MUCH rather have a good DJ and great food and drinks than a dancer, a magician, a ballon guy, poker table or any of that other stuff. I honestly don't understand. I have never been to a wedding that had any of that kind of stuff and haven't missed it.

However I HAVE been to weddings with not enough food, no booze, not enough choice in drinks, no music, an Ipod wedding and all of these things ended up killing the wedding. I think you need to think about what is really important to spend your money on, esp. if you have a tight budget.

    JMHO.

We are having a DJ (would like a wedding singer but too expensive!), there will be some giant outdoor games in the garden liek connect four and snakes and ladders. We may be having a bouncy castle if we can afford it. Also as part of the 'sweetie table' we have one of those machines where you pick up sweets with the grabbber things except ours is a mini version and my fiance is adding a button to it so you don't have to put coins in because that would be a bit mean to the guests lol.
