Its much of a much. Prob better to show people what 'discount' your getting.

However, I'm miffed that my quote is £202 for the black cubix rev sink. Don't suppose you can get me some proof of it so I can haggle with my branch? ;)

    Hey

Thanks for your response. The discount is not quoted as a % - discount sums range from £59.70 to £80.00.

I do have the sink quoted as £157.50 on my quote - more than happy to send this to you but would rather order my kitchen, pay for it and have it delivered before I send it if that is ok - just dont want to jepodise my price!!!!

I'd say that was very reasonable for the size of kitchen you are having installed. We paid about half that for our tiny kitchen two years ago (and when I mean tiny, I mean tiny!)

I can't see any appliances listed - are you sourcing your dishwasher, oven etc from an alternative supplier?
If I have been of any assistance, or my information is useful, please press the "Thanks" button :)

Howdens always give discount - trick is to find a tradesman that has the best rates and get him to order it for you.
Some joiners will do this for you even if they are not getting your job. May have to give them a cut of the savings - but hey its a net saving to you.
I got my Howdens kitchen with an approx 70% discount as the company was buying loads from them.

The price seems about right. Yoiu have (as far as I can see) 10 units plus worktops so is about right.

If you want to save money, cancel the walnut worktop jointing compound - I don't know ant fitters that use it! Plus you have soft closers on everything. Howdens charge you dear for thes extras. It would be more cost sffective to have ordinary closing cupboards and then retro fit soft close dampers that are less than £1 from screw fix / ebay.

Also the worktop connecting bolts are over priced. Again - £1 from screwfix.

Also soft closers on the drawer pack is an extra £50.00 (£12.50/ drawer). Not convinced that any one would tell the difference with or without them. You could save £150 or so just in these few things.

Also offer to pay up front and they may give you free delivery - its worth more to them to have the money now rather than put it on account and wait 30 or 60 days for it.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
