want to go from Redhill to Truro early on the 26th August and come back on the 29th. I am 15, and there is over 10 of us going.
What websites are cheapest to buy tickets on?
Will I get a discount for booking early?
Will I get discount for booking as a group?
What is my cheapest option?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP IN ADVANCE

First Great Western offers group discounts for groups of ten or more travelling together. Adults receive a 26% discount and the children aged 5 to 15 (inclusive) travel at half the normal adult fare less a 26% reduction.
Group travel must be booked at least 7 days before travel and can be booked up to two months in advance of the date of travel.
To book group travel please contact our Telesales on 08457 000 125.
Alternatively, if, say 2 people in your group are aged 16 or over, and 8 are aged 15 or under, then 2 x Family Railcards at £26 each may be your best bet. The discounts are greater than the Group discount but you do have to invest in the railcards, which are valid for one year.
Assuming you don't book Advance tickets, walk-on Super Off Peak return tickets would cost £248.80 via Guildford, changing onto FGW at Reading, or £257.20 via London (including tube).
Once you include the cost of the Railcards, that's around £300, or £37.50 each, return.
However if you book in advance, Advance fares can reduce the price a lot (the lowest fare would be £48.40 each way for the group, or £6.05 per person each way) but the best deals for 26 August will have sold out by now.Get a Young Persons Railcard0 -
Get a Young Persons RailcardThat's terrible advice! I've said to you before, please do some research before calling yourself an "expert" on rail fares, and please stop giving out incorrect advice.
Yorkie, you should know by now that sassy gets his/her kicks from re-igniting old posts most probably to up their post count, either way it's an irrelevant post and should be ignored.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0
