These CRETINS have charged me twice for the same invoice on the same day.
I have been onto their website but can't seem to find a way to email or call them. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ahh you have found one of the disadvantages of 18866. No customer services. Don't despair it's cheap. You can ring your bank to reverse the transaction if you can't find any contact details.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Try going via contact us, then report a fault.0

I did this in November and got no response.0 -
They double charged me as well in November and then had the cheek to send me an email a couple of days ago to say I've not paid for that month and that my account has been cancelled.
I only noticed after they sent the email and emailed them at service@call18866.co.uk to complain..
Yet to get a response. I'll give them a few more days before contacting my bank to reverse the charges.0 -
Always pay by direct debit with 18866 or 18185 etc. That way your bank will refund you under the Direct Debit Guarantee in the event of a mistake.0

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I have been using the 18866 service for cheap phone calls for some time now and never had any bother UNTIL NOW!!! On two consecutive days they charged me for an invoice with the same details???? Trying to find a way of contacting them to sort it out is a waste of time. Such a shame. They have the cheek to email me and say they are now blocking my account unless i pay them and change my way of paying them in future. Why do they do this? What can i do??? I cannot find a phone number to actually speak to a human being about this problem so NOTHING CAN BE DONE!!! Not impressed. Don't know what to do now.0

If they charged you twice why do they want paying again, surely they have had the money (twice)?0 -
I had the same experience as LisaJane. But they did get back to me on 10th Jan with the following message:
Dear Customer,
We apologize for the double payments taken. After speaking to our accounts department we can confirm that this was a fault on our part. They have further assured us that all customers who have been double charged will be refunded within the next few days.
Kindest regards,
Customer Services
I had already complained to my bank the day before so I'm not sure if this note is a result of that...0 -
18866 is a Swiss company based in Lugano and although they put a British address on the invoice you will never get a reply.
I have found the best way ( but not the fastest) is google www.finarea.ch.
Here you find a web based contact form , you provide your detail ie AC Number and the email address you singed up with. Put your comment and in and about 5 working days you should get a reply. This is the most direct contact there is.:)0
