Nor me but had 2 calls from them trying to quote for my business!!!!!!!! Would like to know if the one's who got it were with them or changed their supplier to them. Was supposed to be open to everyone but now I'm not so sure that was the case. Perhaps their rep would like to supply details of how many customers who did receive it aren't now with NPower?

Your free FZS175P - DDC Edition 60cm Hotpoint Upright Freezer is on its way

Your new freezer will form part of the Dynamic Demand technology that helps to reduce the UK carbon dioxide emissions by responding to changes on the national grid. The freezer will know if the grid has too much electricity in the system and switch on to increase demand or if there is too little electricity, switch off to reduce demand - in both cases helping to balance the grid.

In a first for British homes, RLtec, with funding provided by npower, are conducting a wide ranging trial, which will demonstrate the potential to reduce the nation's carbon dioxide emissions through dynamic demand freezer technology. We believe that this is the biggest trial of 'smart appliances' in Europe.

As part of this trial you have been selected to receive a FZS175P - DDC Edition 60cm Hotpoint Upright Freezer, which you'll be able to keep at the end of the trial as long as you've kept to the terms and conditions of the trial agreement.

Your terms and conditions are attached along with a guide to the trial that should have all the information you need, and Indesit will be in touch soon about the delivery of your freezer and dynamic demand technology. If you have any questions please consult your Participant Information guide where you'll find some useful contact numbers.
