I found that unselecting the "SPA" and "SSL" options in the account settings has restored my ability to receive my ntl emails.
HTH guys!
Pls ask if you need more detail. I assume you'll know how to do this as you must have followed their instructions to set this up a few days ago!

I'm with Virgin Media. Just been on their website and checked service status and there is a fault receiving emails. The issue has been raised and they are working on it.
So don't change anything, normal service should be back in due course....hopefully!0 -

Sorry dan, we must have been typing the response at the same time. My comment wasn't a response to your advice! I didn't see your post until returning to the thread a few minutes later.
I've had email problems before and they righted themselves with time. As VM have identified a problem I, (with my limited pc knowledge) won't adjust any settings for now.
It seems a few of us have the problem, so may be worth sitting tight for the time being.
Just checked again and the estimated repair time is 12:49pm. So could be off for a while yet.0 -
OK. My suggestion is a solution however, I had to do it over the phone with my wife this AM, problem solved immediately.Friendly greeting!0

hi, i am confused as when you say about instructions sent..
i still have an ntlworld email addy and i haven`t received any emails at all today... but the service is working. it justs say no new messages..
am a tad confused.
