Also some other people have ordered things from them and have not received the goods.
They are fake and are now being looked into by professionals.
Can you expand as to what you mean they are being looked into by professionals, is that a fact or just speculation from a mate in the pub? Also who are "the professionals" not Doyle and Bodey?
I am really interested as there is a Tom Tom 910 on there at quite rightly a really *unbelievable price* so i agree it may be fake but surely if you pay by credit card you can easily get money refunded as it is up to the credit card company to ensure that merchants are valid isn't it?

I am currently in the USA They are £70 ( white 110 volt ) at walmart in the without the kit and game also £79 i believe in Japan
I was in Canada recently and it was £70 as well in Walwart there. However later saw it was about the same price in ToysRus but also with a free game so if you still in the US and interested it maybe worth you checking this out.
I also nearly fell for it, that website did looked convincing until someone pointed out about the fake verisign. Lucky you spotted the scam before it was too late.0 -

I believe the site is fake too.
If you click on the verisign logo a new window will appear and apparently verifying this merchant as genuine but noticed this window is not security padlocked. Now select a different language from the list box near the top and notice the merchant suddenly changes to verisign and noticed the security padlock appears. Now change the language back to english and see what happens. The merchant remains as verisign!!! I'm no expert but this behaviour does not instill confidence that this is a genuine merchant.
Also try this on a well known and trusted site and see what happens when it is genuine..
Hope this has convinced you that this is a fake/scam website.0 -
This website is a definate scam. I ordered a DSlite from them. received an email confirmation etc. All seems great. After a few days no DS, so I checked my creditcard & no money taken. I chased them by email a few times and got no replies. A couple of days after this, I get a call from the fraud dept of my credit card company that someone had tried to wire £315 and £380 using western union. Fortuantley my bank are very clever and didnt let it go through.
Going back to the website and checking the verisign page, it is actually hosted locally instead of at https://seal.verisign.com. Check the difference in the url of this compared to at paypal.
I'm usually really up on this sort of thing, but this one got me

Sorry to hear of your experience but glad your card company were wise to the scam and stopped it in time. Hope no one from this forum was less fortunate.
I think we all have learnt a lesson, well I definitely have, is never take these versign or any other authenticating seals at face value and always check it out thoroughly before buying anything from unfamiliar shopping websites.
Take care.
Now waiting for the next bargain ....:j

Both of the addresses listed earlier also happen to be offices of a law firm called Blake Lapthorn Linnell

I wonder if they know about them.0 -
Incidently is there anywhere in this country where I can get a DS lite either on it's own or part of a bundle cheap?0

BLL are a respected law firm. Presumably these people are clients of BLL and BLL did the incorporation.
I laugh when I read a lot of stuff on here - you've condemned this company on the basis of very little...

The fake "this site is genuine" certificates were enough. That is basis of a very lot, not very little.
The site has now gone funnily enough.
BTW how come you dragged up this ol thread?!0
