Does it always go to court? I am sending in a LBA for my son. He has been charged only £148 by Halifax in the past year but I am so annoyed as they have been such silly things he has been charged for.
I don't fancy going to court for this amount (or should I say my son doesn't) Has anyone had their charges refunded when they have sent in their LBA?

If you go to https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk they have a survey showing at which point on average all the different banks pay out.
I have just had my second claim against HBoS paid out
(in Scotland so am limited to £750 claim) Both claims went as far as me filing court papers, but not going to court. I am about to start on my third claim against them. :T 0 -

Fruity car - I think I found the right page you mentioned, from what I make out - Halifax are quite good at repaying charges, am I right in thinking this?became debt free December 060
