Hi traveling frm gatwick with 3 teenagers. All with i-pods!!!:(
we have a 3- 4 hour coach journey before we get there for a 10 hour flight.
Is there anywhere at gatwick north terminal they can charge there i-pod ready for the long flight???
Am taking a note book so can charge via that??
Help needed plz

what airline are you flying with? It may be a long shot, but some carriers have a limited number of seats in economy with power points...so if you could choose your seats accordingly you may be able to charge in flight with the correct adapter.

I have seen people plug leads into the power points on the wall at various airports. Can't remember if Gatwick has any rapid charging terminals.

You can also get battery extenders (I have one, but not compatible with i-Pod so can't say how the ones that are compatible are, but mine is great).

Building on what ferf1223 said.....if you look at https://www.seatguru.com you can find out what seats on your flights have DC power sockets. Then it would be the matter of paying a couple of quid for the appropriate adaptor.

You could buy a Ipod mini battery pack which can extend the life for a good few hours
