The dinosaur adventure park at Lenwade just outside Norwich is definately worth a visit, the kids will love it,there is a trail to follow and 'meet' the dinosaurs on the way, check points along the way to stamp the chart, they then get a lolly or something for completing the trail, they also have a deer safari and small animal farm.
There is also Pettits at Reedham, this is a small animal farm,it has monkeys, birds, insects and loads of other wildlife also there is a small fairground with free rides and a goat enclosure where the kids can in with the animals and feed them.
Lastly Banham Zoo,tigers, camels and most of the animals you would expect.
Have fun,but mind the weather!Debt at highest £102k

Plenty of 2 for 1 vouchers for Norfolk, and East of England, here.

I agree with Petitts, it is very tame so perfect for littlies and you should be able to keep them amused for a long time. We took my 2 1/2 year old to the dinosaur park this summer and she loved finding all the dinosaurs hidden in the woods, there is plenty of space for running around and a nice junior play area.
You could go to the seaside at Cromer or go to Great Yarmouth. Winterton on Sea is nice, as is Southwold. Fritton Lake is good with some nice little things for young children. As grown ups we ove Blakeney which is a fair drive from Norwich but has some lovely pubs for lunch and you could take a boat trip.
http://www.theplaybarn.co.uk/ is good if it is raining.
Have fun0 -
Take a trip to the castle - lots of things to do with the kiddies - we had a great time, spent all day there (unintentionally!)0

Fully agree with ops: Castle, Pettits, Dinosaur Park and Banham Zoo have all been winners for our kids.
If the weather's good and you want to go to the coast I'd probably head for Cromer ( 30-35 mins)which has nice beach, pier and probably a bit more for little ones (inc soft play area if needed). For the full "Kiss me quick" version Yarmouth is 35-40 mins away...but does boast a Sealife centre in addition to Pleasure Beach etc. If you want really deserted large beaches Wells or Holkham might be best (about an hour).
You could also take a boat tour around the Broads...or hire a dayboat for a few hours, very simple to operate and good fun. The other fun boat thing is a trip to see the seals at Blakeney...about 50 mins from Norwich. If they might like steam trains they run from Aylsham to Wroxham and separately from Sheringham(seaside town) to Holt (nice little Georgian market town with good palces to eat). Hiring bikes (with kiddyseats) has also been a success for us as there are lots of good off-road cycle paths to explore, you can hire them from several places including the old railway station (now tearooms) at Reepham (25 mins). If the weather's poor there's also a kids soft play area called Funky Monkeys in Norwich and several cinemas and theatres to choose from. New swimming pool at Riverside has nice shallow warm kid's pool!
Wroxham Barns has shops and tearooms for mum and dad plus small petting farm for kids.
Tourist Info at The Forum, next to market, are very helpful.
Hope you enjoy it...we moved here several years ago and have loved every minute!Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0 -
