Statutort Demand Dismissed??????

Hi

My partner has just had a letter from the courts stating that the application to set aside the stautory demand has been dismissed and that he should pay the costs of £99.88

First of all what does that mean dismissed and also he is on a minimum wage and for the next two weeks his place of work is shut down and he will not get paid so how can he pay this money (he works for a job agency). Courts want payment by 3.8.10

Please help very worried

Hi Pinkjaney... I have no idea what the statutory demand is about, but hopefully a bump up will bring someone in who will know.

    Best of luck. GB :)

The court has not accepted his grounds for setting the SD aside. So the creditor can now petition for his bankruptcy.

If it's some scumbag company like Capquest then they probably won't.

Might be worth giving some background to this.

Is this an `unenforceable ` CCA agreement , being enforced by an ignorant judge ?!
