I need J or K
Prices start from £15 and go up - seems expensive for a hose - anyone know of a good cheaper place?
it is for Gainsborough SV700

All shower hoses are universal. They have the same fittings regardless of make. You can get a no frills one from Wilkinsons for about £7.00Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Ha Ha
we have the same model and the hose was way too short at 50cm so off I went to our local hardware store and picked one 1.5m up for £7, much better quality as well.
Gainsbo are part of Aqualisa so they are top quality for the valves etc' however all the other fittings are standard and less.:eek:Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!

@avantra - which hose was too short - the poundland one?
We do have a hose lying around but it doesn't fit so seems their are some non-standard ones too!
this should be fine yes? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1903807707930 -
Lidl recently had a 2M hose for about £3 - may still have one if you have a store local?0

I didn't see any hoses there on saturday
I have also seen this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SHOWER-HOSE-1-5M-STAINLESS-STEEL-11mm-Double-Interlock-/300446139451?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Home_Garden_Bathroom_Shower_Units_PP&hash=item45f3fc443b
which says 'double' interlock where both ends look the same - this seems more similar to what seems to be attached to the shower atm - what is the difference between double and single?0 -

I mean the original Gainsborough hose was too short.
We had to get a longer one that have the smoother locking nut on the wall side (as opposed to those that look a bit like a ribbed mechine screw top).Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!
