Which credit card issueer will issue the second card holders' card with same card number as the main one?

    Egg and Halifax definitely do.

    Amex definitely do not.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries
  • Does it matter?
To me different card numbers means it is easier to tell who has spent what.

Your BA Amex is issued by AMEX,

Your Virgin Atlantic AMEX isn't - it's issued by MBNA ;)

    Thanks for everyone's reply.

What happened was we want to have a card for my wife's clothing shopping. Because she likes taking stuffs back. The shops are near where I work, so sometime it would be easier for me to take the stuffs back. Thats why we are after a credit card have same number for both holders.

We have a Amex, but her card has different number, which not good. Shops always check the card number on the recept. . I know Egg does, but Egg want lots documents from her to proof identity/ address etc, so we just not bother it anymore.

Now, we might for the new halifax clarity card....
