Travel Insurance Confusion

I need to renew my travel insurance but oldest daughter is 18 so price comparison sites won't allow a family of 4 as she is an adult. Sites wont allow a group insurance as youngest is 16.
How do you manage this?
Oldest does have her own insurance as she paid to go away in June with a friend but I'm not confident that she will be covered when travelling with us as a family.
While waiting for replies I will ring her insurance to see where we stand.
TIA

As she is 18+ she is an adult and needs her own insurance (and it is always that I recommend that you should insure your own immediate family - you, spouse and minor children - and let the others get their own)
Of course she is covered on her own policy and there is no point in insuring someone twice, you cannot claim on both policies anyway. Except of course that you get additional cover on the better policy of the two.
Group policies are usually 8/10 or more anyway - 4 in a group is not a group on most policies.
Who are you, and who is she insured with? And where are you traveling? I deal with most insurers and will be pleased to give my opinions of those IC's if you want.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)

You can get a family policy (to include an 18 year old) with direct-travel.0
