salter luggage scale (hand)

does anyone have the instructions for the salter luggage weigh. it seemed initially that you pressed it once and the kilo sign came up and once at 0 off you went, once it had reached its decision it beeped twice. well each i did that it cam up with a different weight each time. i then showed it to my son, big misstake, and he beeped it a few times and now it says hold in the corner and 0.3 kgs. when you beep it once it appears to work as normal but the hold word is still there no matter what i do. any ideas please?

I don't have one, but generally these things work by selecting different functions depending on whether you press the button and release it immediately, or press it and hold it in for a few seconds.

Try the latter and you will ~probably~ find that it releases the "hold" mode.

thanks for trying but been doing that all day, just have to hope its not too over and its already too big

Take the battery out and leave for a few minutes, then replace?
