Just found the email below in one of my inboxes. I am looking to start a book on whether or not this is a SCAM - just in case I have removed the winning numbers

I suppose it makes a change from all those emails I receive that want me to pur millions of pounds into my bank account for safe keeping - just because some random number generator on a computer says I am trustworthy. Can I make it very clear that I am not trustworthy, if you lodge millions of pounds into my bank account I will spend it ... quickly. Now that I have explained maybe I will no longer receive such emails.

I received similar offer as lotto winer on my email box, iI guess is a scam. here it is:

Definitely a scam.

You will be expected to pay a fee for the transfer of funds which will never appear.

It may also be designed for the purposes of identity theft, where you have to supply personal info, bank account details etc.

It all depends how gullible the victim is.

There is even a TV ad version of this well-known 'Amsterdam Lottery Scam' (for Egg?). The most telling phrase from one of the scammers is "One born every minute."
