my oven stopped working yesterday.
It ignited ok, but as soon as let go off the dial, the gas went out.
Having had a read on tinternet, i think the thermocouple needs replacing.
How easy is it to fit one to a BEKO DVG695?

i have no idea about your particular model but a thermocouple is easy to fit, you dont have to break into or disturb the gas side to do it so thats not an issue, it will be held in usually by a screw, sometimes a nut around the thermocouples outside, and a small 7 or 8 mm nut will hold the other end into the gas valve, just ensure it is correctly positioned in the pilot flame when you replace it, screwfix sell a universal thermocouple kit that will suit most needs, but remove your old one first and measure it, the fittings are usually quite universal but they can vary in length0
