    Thanks all.

Funny why they ask. Do you think its to see if you feel guilty and hope you let the PWC keep the money to save them doing the re-claiming paperwork?

Who knows....maybe they need to be 'seen' to be asking. There was a case on here recently where they are reclaiming the overpayment from the PWC (but the NRP will not have to wait - he is getting a lump sum payment) but she was a deceiving b!tch who quite frankly deserved to have the book thrown at her. She should have been charged for wasting CSA time as well.

But this is a one off. And to be honest, even if they do recall the money then as Karenx says, it would be at a nominal sum from her benefits. Depends whose fault it was that the overpayment occured I guess.

But even if they do recover, your ex has gained from the money which wasn't due to her so it should be paid back.

For the reason given though, and the fact she is on benefits, then your refund will just be paid from the tax payers.

But do get it back - it's your cash and they are quick enough to get it off you if you are due it;)
